The Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County has launched an online survey to better understand the preferences of its readers and enhance its book club offerings. The survey invites participation from everyone in the community, whether they frequently attend a library book club, drop in occasionally, or have never joined one.

The library emphasized the importance of public input in its announcement, stating, "Whether you are a regular attendee, have joined us occasionally, or have never attended, your input matters." The survey can be accessed online at [https://forms.gle/dJaEzddjWHdzaKLm7](https://forms.gle/dJaEzddjWHdzaKLm7).

Currently, the library hosts two book clubs catering to different interests. "All Booked" is a hybrid club for fiction enthusiasts, focusing on mysteries, romances, and occasionally biographies. The group meets monthly at 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday, either in person at the library or via Zoom.

For nonfiction readers, "Issues & Viewpoints" explores topics such as current events, history, politics, and social issues. This club meets in person at 1:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. Neither group holds meetings in December, and no registration is required to join.

Library members who wish to start their own book clubs can take advantage of "Book Club in a Bag," a program that provides five or more copies of a single title along with discussion questions. Borrowers may check out the canvas bag for up to four weeks.

Multiple copies of each month’s selected book for "All Booked" and "Issues & Viewpoints" are available for two-week checkouts at the circulation desk.
