The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has provided new details about an ongoing investigation into incidents involving members of the Greene County Tech football team. Sheriff Brad Snyder announced that, on September 25, 2026, authorities received a report alleging misconduct among juvenile players.

The case was referred to the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division, where Jamie England Moore conducted all investigative interviews. Detective Sergeant Russ Latimer, representing the sheriff’s office, monitored the interviews and took notes but was not inside the interview room during the sessions.

According to statements gathered during the investigation, a juvenile identified as the Alleged Offender reportedly wrestled another player, designated as Juvenile Victim 1, to the locker room floor with the assistance of other players. The Alleged Offender allegedly exposed his genitals and attempted to rub them on the victim’s face while the victim reportedly called for help and resisted. Reports from Juvenile Witness 1 and Juvenile Victim 2 corroborated the details of this incident.

A separate incident was reported by Juvenile Victim 2, who claimed the Alleged Offender dragged him to the ground and pressed his exposed genitals against his cheek. Another allegation detailed by Juvenile Victim 3 stated that the Alleged Offender and other players attempted to subject him to "birthday spankings." In response, the victim fled and avoided contact by hiding in a baseball dugout. Juvenile Witness 2 confirmed that a group, including the Alleged Offender, searched for the victim during this event.

Victim and witness statements described unwanted physical contact, acts of humiliation, and harassment directed at the victims. Based on the interviews, Detective Sergeant Latimer issued the Alleged Offender a juvenile citation on three counts of harassment, with each count corresponding to one victim.

Under Arkansas law, harassment is defined under statute 5-71-208 as engaging in behavior meant to harass, alarm, or annoy another person without legitimate cause. It is a Class A misdemeanor.

Sheriff Snyder stated that, because this case involves juveniles, no further information will be released.
