A Cherokee Village man was arrested and taken into custody last Thursday, October 15, according to the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office.
Vincent Ryan Prokop, 36, was booked at the county detention center on several charges. These include possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and trafficking a controlled substance, a felony. Court documents reveal additional charges of possessing or transporting a sex doll in violation of the law, violating the sex offender registration act, and being in proximity to certain restricted facilities, both felonies. Prokop is also charged under Arkansas’s habitual offender statute.
Prokop remains at the Sharp County Detention Center as he awaits his next court hearing. Details about the circumstances leading to his arrest were not disclosed.
