The North Central Arkansas Home Builders Association will hold its annual Fairways for Foundations golf tournament this Saturday at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Mountain Home. Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarships for students pursuing careers in the building trades.

According to Michele Linehan, the association’s executive director, the fundraiser supports students preparing for careers that often receive less scholarship funding compared to traditional college programs.

The tournament offers participants various amenities, including breakfast, lunch, beverages, golf carts, and contests at individual holes. A standout feature of the event is a $10,000 prize for participants who achieve a hole-in-one.

Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Registration costs $600 per four-player team or $150 per individual golfer. Non-golfers are also welcome to attend for a fee to cover meal expenses.

Board member Colton Kincaid shared additional details, noting that the event is designed to bring together the community in support of skilled trades education.
