A 44-year-old man from Piggott lost his life in a crash in Randolph County earlier this month, according to a report released by the Arkansas State Police.
The incident occurred at 5:27 a.m. on October 8 at the intersection of Highway 67 and Highway 304. Investigators determined that Gary D. Mills was driving a 1993 Oldsmobile when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2025 Freightliner stopped at a red light.
Mills did not survive the crash. No other injuries were reported.
The Arkansas State Police conducted the investigation into the accident.
