JONESBORO, Ark. — A man accused of being involved in multiple thefts at a Lowe’s store in Jonesboro had his bond set at $100,000 cash or surety with GPS monitoring, according to an Oct. 14 court order.

Marvin White, who is alleged to have participated in three separate incidents taking place between November 2024 and March 2025, is facing multiple charges, including felony theft of property. A probable cause affidavit, signed by Jonesboro Police Detective Madison Dobbs, outlines accusations that White, along with another individual, stole merchandise valued at $2,375 in total.

The case initiated after a Lowe’s employee reported the thefts to the Jonesboro Police Department on March 20, 2025. The employee alleged that White and a second suspect, Meoshia Neal, had been involved. According to the affidavit, Neal and White were previously arrested in Memphis, Tennessee, where both reportedly confessed to their roles in the thefts.

Details of the alleged incidents are as follows:

- On Nov. 13, 2024, White and Neal reportedly entered the store, selected two Husqvarna blowers valued together at $698, removed the security devices, and left without paying. - On Nov. 21, 2024, White allegedly picked a Husqvarna blower while Neal used bolt cutters to disable its security wire and also broke a lock on a generator cage. Police allege the pair left with a Craftsman 2,200-watt inverter generator and other merchandise totaling $1,301.88. - On March 18, 2025, the pair allegedly concealed a paint sprayer, cleaning supplies, and a ceiling fan, which had a combined value of $375.19, and exited without paying.

White’s charges include Class D felony theft of property valued between $1,000 and $5,000, breaking or entering involving a container, Class A misdemeanor first-degree criminal mischief, and Class A misdemeanor theft involving property valued at $1,000 or less.

Court records indicate the $100,000 bond was set due to several factors, including White’s lack of ties to the Craighead County area, his out-of-state residence, allegations of repeated thefts from the same store, and similar charges pending in Shelby County, Tennessee. Judge Tommy Fowler also ordered White to wear a GPS ankle monitor as a condition of release.

White’s next court date is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 23 at the Craighead County Courthouse in Jonesboro.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
