The Mountain Home Public Schools Board of Education is scheduled to meet tonight at 6 p.m. in the District Administration Building to address a variety of agenda items.

The meeting will begin with a presentation by Russell Winburn of Taylor King Law, followed by reports on academic performance, financial updates, current enrollment numbers, and school safety and security. Board members will also receive a student transfer update.

Items slated for discussion and decision include a contracted services agreement, a MacBook refresh project, related party disclosure matters, and a board resolution. The board will be asked to approve the sale of used school buses, a salary schedule for the district's technology director, and the purchase of a new air conditioning unit for the junior high band room. Additional approvals sought include vendor payments exceeding $20,000, amendments to salary schedules labeled 26G-1 and 26G-2, longevity bonuses, and bonuses for all staff.

Members are also set to vote on selecting a delegate to represent the district at the Arkansas School Boards Association (ASBA) annual conference.

The superintendent will provide an update, after which the board will move into an employee hearing and executive session to discuss matters of personnel employment, retirements, and transfers. The meeting will conclude following the executive session.

The public is welcome to attend portions of the meeting, which is expected to conclude later in the evening after the board addresses all items on the agenda.
