The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB) is inviting families across Independence County to celebrate the season during the free “Harvest at The FARM” event, set for this Saturday at the UACCB Gateway Center.
Located across from the soccer fields on White Drive in Batesville, the event offers a variety of activities for all ages, including tractor-pulled barrel train rides, hayrides, antique tractors, and a petting zoo. Complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided, and seasonal items such as pumpkins and mums will be available for purchase at $5 or less.
Organizers shared that the event is a showcase for the work of students enrolled in UACCB’s recently launched farm and ranch management program. Admission and parking are free, and doors will remain open for the public throughout the event.
