POCAHONTAS — A Piggott man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 67 at State Highway 304, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Gary D. Mills, the driver of a 1993 Oldsmobile, was traveling northbound on Highway 67 when his vehicle struck the rear of a 2025 Freightliner, which was also heading north and had stopped for a red light. The crash occurred on Sunday, October 8, 2026.
Arkansas State Police listed the weather as clear and road conditions as dry at the time of the collision. The Pocahontas Police Department is identified as the investigating agency in the preliminary report, with Cpl. Anthony Parten conducting the investigation.
