An unidentified man was found dead Wednesday at Riverside Park in Batesville, according to Police Chief John Scarbrough.
Officers responded to the park where the body of the unknown male was discovered, Scarbrough confirmed. Authorities do not suspect foul play in the man’s death.
The body is being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory. Forensic officials will work to identify the man and pinpoint an official cause of death.
No further details have been released as of now, and the investigation is ongoing.
