The Craighead County Farm Bureau hosted its annual meeting Monday, recognizing local achievements and discussing the group’s ongoing advocacy efforts on behalf of area farmers.
During the event, held at the Northeast Arkansas Rice Research Station between Jonesboro and Harrisburg, the bureau named Huffman Family Farms as the 2026 Craighead County Farm Family of the Year. Owned by Mark and Kim Huffman, the farm is known for its cattle operations north of Jonesboro.
Attendees also learned how the organization is working to support the agriculture community in Craighead County, offering resources and representation for farmers in the region.
