Bobcat Madness returns to the Flippin High School gymnasium this Friday, October 16, with a full evening of sports exhibitions and student performances. Organized in partnership with the Bull Shoals Food Pantry, the event encourages attendees to contribute non-perishable food items or personal hygiene products, which can be donated at tables set up in the gym lobby.
The evening begins with a presentation from Arvest Bank, welcoming attendees to Bobcat Madness 2026. Following this, the Flippin High School band and cheer team will be introduced. Other introductions throughout the night include the esports program, as well as track and field, cross country, archery, softball, bowling, volleyball, and golf teams.
Fans can look forward to performances by the mini-cheer team and various basketball exhibitions. The girls’ basketball team will make its entrance, followed by a 12-minute exhibition game by the 7th-grade girls’ team and another 12-minute game featuring the junior girls’ basketball team.
A senior skills basketball challenge, sponsored by Anstaff Bank, is set to follow, leading into an exhibition game by the senior high Lady Bobcats and introductions for the senior Bobcats boys’ team. Afterward, the 7th-grade boys’ team will play an 8-minute exhibition game, and fans can participate in a half-court shooting contest for a chance to win $100, sponsored by Farm Bureau.
The junior Bobcats will then take the floor for a 12-minute exhibition game, with a 50/50 drawing sponsored by the Booster Club immediately after. The night wraps up with a 16-minute exhibition game featuring the senior Bobcats boys’ basketball team.
Bobcat Madness offers residents of Flippin and surrounding areas the chance to support local students while contributing to the Bull Shoals Food Pantry. The event showcases school spirit and the wide array of extracurricular activities available to Flippin athletes.
