The Cotter Planning and Zoning Commission will convene Tuesday evening to review applications for a proposed zoning change. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Cotter City Hall.
The commission will evaluate requests to rezone four parcels on the north side of Cotter Road (Highway 345) from Industrial I-1 to Commercial C-1. These parcels stretch from the railroad crossing to an area beyond a currently vacant warehouse, formerly operated by Contractors Truss Company.
Following the review, the commission is expected to determine a date for a public hearing on the matter. The hearing will occur before any recommendations are forwarded to the Cotter City Council for consideration.
