HARRISBURG, Ark. — The Craighead County Farm Bureau recognized the Huffman Family as the Farm Family of the Year during its annual meeting on Monday.

The meeting, held at the Northeast Arkansas Rice Research Station between Jonesboro and Harrisburg, brought together members of the farming community to discuss advocacy efforts and key issues impacting local agriculture.

Mark and Kim Huffman, who operate Huffman Family Farms just north of Jonesboro, were honored with the title. The family specializes in cattle farming.

The gathering served as a platform to highlight the bureau's ongoing work on behalf of farmers in the region and to celebrate the contributions of those who play a vital role in sustaining the agricultural industry in Craighead County.
