PARAGOULD, Ark. — A man from Paragould is facing felony charges after a woman reported he forcibly entered her home and took her cellphone during a confrontation, according to court documents filed in Greene County.

The accused, identified as Theodore Seggerman, is charged with aggravated residential burglary, a Class A felony, along with three misdemeanor offenses, including theft of property, third-degree domestic battering, and interference with emergency communication.

Officers responded to an Oct. 11, 2026, domestic violence call at the woman’s residence, as detailed in an affidavit from Investigator Hunter De Sesso.

The woman told law enforcement that Seggerman kicked in her door, according to the affidavit. A brief verbal altercation ensued, during which she told him she planned to contact the police. In response, Seggerman allegedly took her cellphone and fled the scene.

The affidavit also notes that the woman sustained injuries to her arm, though it does not specify how those injuries occurred.

Seggerman was booked into the Greene County Jail late on Oct. 11. Records show that in an Oct. 12 order, Greene County District Judge Curtis Hitt found probable cause for the arrest and set Seggerman’s bond at $50,000 surety or another form acceptable to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.

The judge’s order prohibits Seggerman from contacting the victim, witnesses, or anyone else involved in the case. It also requires that he remain law-abiding and refrain from possessing firearms or other weapons.

All allegations remain unproven, and Seggerman, like all suspects, is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
