The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will hold an in-person public meeting to discuss plans to replace the Spring River Bridge on Highway 62 in Imboden. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Imboden First Assembly of God, located at 5569 Highway 63 in Imboden.

The event will follow an open-house format, allowing attendees to drop in at any time during the session to review proposed plans, ask questions, and provide input. According to ARDOT, public feedback will play a key role in shaping the final design and implementation of the project.

The bridge, which spans the Spring River and connects Lawrence and Randolph counties, is a critical transportation link for the region. Plans for replacement aim to ensure the structure continues to meet the area's needs safely and effectively.

Residents unable to attend the in-person meeting can access information about the project on ARDOT’s website starting October 9, 2026. The department will accept public comments on the proposal through 4:30 p.m. on October 29, 2026.

For more details or to submit comments, visit ARDOT’s website or contact the department directly.
