The Mountain Home Planning Commission is scheduled to convene on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Mountain Home Municipal Building. The meeting will involve discussions on multiple rezoning requests and a preliminary plat review.

Among the items on the agenda is a proposal to rezone property located on Highway 62 East, adjacent to Warehouse Liquor, from commercial C-2 to commercial C-2A. The petitioners, Richard Steven and Karen Fouts, will have their request presented by Brittany Youngblood.

The commission will also review a request by Rivendell Industries, Inc. to rezone property at 217 and 221 East 13th Street from industrial I-1 to commercial C-3. This proposal will be presented by Ted Sanders.

Additionally, the commissioners will consider approval of a preliminary plat for property located at 2354 Highway 201 South, submitted by Mountain Home Industrial Warehouse. Kimley-Horn and Associates will present on behalf of the petitioner.

The agenda indicates that commissioners will address any old business before the meeting adjourns. Members of the public are welcome to attend to observe the proceedings.
