A Texas man lost his life in a two-vehicle accident in Marion County on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Arkansas State Police (ASP).
The victim has been identified as 79-year-old Michael Keith Knox of Bellevue, Texas. Authorities say the crash occurred on Arkansas State Highway 14 South in a rural part of the county at approximately 4:15 p.m.
An ASP report states that Knox's vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured and did not require emergency medical treatment, according to the report.
No further details about the circumstances of the crash have been released. The investigation is being handled by the Arkansas State Police.
