A 20-year-old man from Oklahoma is in custody after allegedly threatening to have members of the Aryan Brotherhood kill police officers in Mountain View. The Stone County Sheriff's Office confirmed George David Barnett, of Broken Arrow, is being held at the county jail on multiple charges stemming from the incident.

According to a probable cause affidavit from the Mountain View Police Department, officers were dispatched to a local McDonald’s on Tuesday following reports of a man trespassing. When officers arrived, they encountered Barnett, who had reportedly been trespassed from the fast-food location earlier that same day.

While police were speaking to Barnett in the parking lot, another man approached. Barnett reportedly began yelling that he was going to kill the individual and lunged at him. Officers subdued Barnett and placed him in handcuffs as he continued making threats to harm the man and the officers present.

During his transportation to jail, Barnett allegedly escalated his threats, stating he would call upon his “Aryan Race Brothers” to kill all the officers in Mountain View. The Aryan Brotherhood is a known white supremacist prison gang and organized crime syndicate.

Barnett has been charged with a felony count of first-degree terroristic threatening as well as misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. His bond has been set at $100,000.

Public records also indicate Barnett was arrested last month in Stone County on similar allegations. In that case, he was reportedly found standing on a sidewalk yelling obscenities and threatening to kill everyone nearby. He was charged at the time with misdemeanor offenses for terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct.
