The 46th Annual Arkansas Scottish Festival and Homecoming is set to take place at Lyon College in Batesville from October 23 to 25, offering a weekend filled with Scottish heritage, entertainment, and family-friendly activities.
Organizers announced that this year’s ScotsFest will feature traditional Highland athletics, pipe and drum bands, Celtic music, Highland dancing, and demonstrations by sheepdogs. New additions include the inaugural ScotsFest Fishing Derby and the Lil’ Highlanders Tea Party. Attendees can also enjoy a kids' zone, a petting zoo, a dog show, rocket launches, and a British car show.
General admission to the festival is free, welcoming visitors of all ages to participate in the celebration. The event serves as an opportunity to honor Lyon College's Scottish ties while bringing the community together for a weekend of cultural activities.
