The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will hold a special distribution of infant formula in Jonesboro on Friday, October 9, to assist families struggling to afford or find formula for their infants.
The event will take place at the Allen Park Community Center, located at 3609 Race Street in Jonesboro. The drive-through distribution will run from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. or until supplies are depleted.
Available formula will include Similac Dual Prebiotic Blend with Iron, a milk-based, ready-to-drink product provided in 8-ounce bottles, bundled in six-packs. No photo identification will be required to receive formula, though recipients will need to provide basic information such as their name, address, and county of residence.
The distribution is open to anyone in the region who needs assistance, regardless of their county of residence.
