Pinkston Middle School is seeking local professionals and businesses to participate in its second annual Career Connections day, scheduled for Friday, November 13.
The event, held at the school located at 1301 South College Street in Mountain Home, offers sixth and seventh-grade students the opportunity to explore a variety of career fields through hands-on activities and discussions with industry professionals.
Seventh-grade students will participate from 8:35 to 11 a.m., while sixth graders will engage in the event from noon to 2:25 p.m. The program is designed to give students a clearer understanding of potential career paths and inspire them to discover where their interests may lead.
Organizers are calling on local volunteers from a range of industries to share insights about their professions. Activities will include demonstrations and other interactive experiences aimed at providing students a tangible sense of the daily demands and rewards of different careers.
