The Sharp County Sheriff's Office has released a report summarizing arrests made during the week of September 28 through October 5, 2026. Chief Deputy Kevin 'Bart' Simpson provided the details, which include a range of charges from drug-related offenses to registration violations.

Alexander Armstrong, 33, of Cherokee Village, was taken into custody for failure to register or comply with reporting requirements, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance under four ounces, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Similarly, Matthew Baldridge, 62, also of Cherokee Village, was arrested on charges of failure to register or comply with reporting requirements.

Several individuals were charged with drug-related offenses. Mary Collins, 33, of Cherokee Village, faced charges of possessing a Schedule I or II controlled substance, excluding methamphetamine or cocaine, in quantities under two grams, along with a Schedule VI substance below four ounces, and drug paraphernalia. Meanwhile, Christopher Troop, 35, and Reba Troop, 65, both of Poughkeepsie, were arrested in connection with the manufacture of a Schedule VI controlled substance. Christopher Troop also faces additional charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and possession of a Schedule VI substance with intent to deliver.

Other notable arrests include Jacob Bates, 31, of Cave City, who was charged with domestic battery (third degree), endangering the welfare of a minor in the third degree, and second-degree terroristic threatening. Jordan Little, 19, also of Cave City, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and public intoxication.

Several suspects, including Jacky Dalton, 33, of Highland; Lucas Clute, 23, of Cherokee Village; Alvin Moore, 51, of Cherokee Village; and Carle Walls, 69, of Ash Flat, were charged with failing to comply with sex offender reporting or registration requirements.

Additional arrests involved infractions such as DWI, open container violations, forgery, bond revocation, and violations of state driving regulations. A full list of those arrested and their charges is included in the report, identifying individuals from local communities as well as out-of-state visitors.
