Christopher McKinney, a 65-year-old man from Trumann who was the subject of a Silver Alert, has been found safe, according to Poinsett County Sheriff Kevin Molder.
McKinney was reported missing after he was last seen at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, in a farm field near Brown Lane and Roden Road. At the request of the sheriff's office, the Arkansas State Police issued a Silver Alert early Monday morning to assist in locating him.
Sheriff Molder expressed gratitude to the Arkansas State Police, the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Delta EMS rescue squad, and the Trumann Fire Department for their efforts during the search.
The Silver Alert has since been canceled as McKinney was located unharmed.
