A Pocahontas man was arrested on Saturday, October 3, 2026, on multiple charges, according to the Pocahontas Police Department.
Motlang Ninbit, 60, was booked into the Randolph County Sheriff’s Detention Center. Authorities have charged Ninbit with aggravated residential burglary, second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. The public intoxication charge was classified as drinking in public, which is a misdemeanor.
As of Tuesday, Ninbit remains in custody, awaiting a bond hearing and court date. Law enforcement officials did not release further details about the alleged incidents that led to the charges.
