The Izard County Cooperative Extension Service will host a Fall Producer Field Day on Thursday, October 8, at the Miller Poultry and Cattle Farm, located at 555 Miller Farms Road in Melbourne.
The program begins at 10 a.m. and will include demonstrations of equipment such as a bale processor and feed mixer. Extension Agricultural Agent Michael Paskowitz will give a presentation on winter livestock nutrition and hay testing.
A meal will be served at noon.
