A newly completed basketball court is now open to visitors at the City of Lakeview's community park. The project was made possible through a donation from Hog Wild Septic, providing a fresh recreational option for children, families, and basketball enthusiasts.
Designed to accommodate players of all ages, the facility includes several basketball goals, one of which features a lower height suitable for younger players. Lakeview Mayor Ralph Edge expressed gratitude for the company’s contribution, saying, "The City of Lakeview extends its sincere appreciation to Hog Wild Septic for investing in our community and helping make this project possible."
The court is now available for public use. Mayor Edge encouraged residents to take advantage of the new space, inviting them to “grab a basketball and come give it a try.”
The addition aims to enhance opportunities for outdoor activity and strengthen community engagement.
