North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) crews are currently working to restore electricity to 561 members after a vehicle accident damaged a power pole.
According to a late-morning release from NAEC on Friday, the incident occurred on the Jordan feeder line, which is serviced by the Norfork Substation. The broken pole caused an outage impacting hundreds of nearby residents.
Line workers are on site replacing the damaged equipment. NAEC reported that power is expected to be restored by approximately 3 p.m. Friday.
Members in the area are encouraged to remain patient while the repairs are completed. Further updates will be provided if delays occur.
