Two individuals lost their lives in separate vehicle crashes in Fulton and Izard counties over a three-day span, according to details released by the Arkansas State Police on Wednesday.

The first incident occurred Saturday morning in Calico Rock. Authorities reported that 68-year-old Myra Fay Terry of Calico Rock was traveling southbound on Highway 5 North near Churchill Street. Terry's SUV reportedly left the roadway on a curve, descended an embankment, and struck a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second crash happened Monday on Highway 62 near Fawnhood Road, just outside Viola. State Police said 32-year-old David Graham of Hardy was driving westbound when his car crossed the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle. The driver of the second car, identified as 59-year-old Steven Kirk of Melbourne, sustained injuries and was transported to Baxter Health Fulton County Hospital in Salem.

Authorities have not released additional details on the circumstances surrounding either crash. Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
