Country music fans have something to look forward to in the new season of Netflix’s hit series *Ransom Canyon*. Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis both make special appearances in season two, performing together in the show’s seventh episode.
The duo is featured at a fictional music festival on the show, performing their song “Ain’t a Bad Life.” The track, originally released by Thomas Rhett, became his 25th No. 1 hit earlier this year in April.
Show creator April Blair explained the decision to include the country stars, noting how their personalities and style complemented the show’s tone. “Thomas Rhett and Jordan responded to the story of Quinn throwing this to save the small town,” Blair said. “They were so sweet, humble, down to play, and it just fit the vibe perfectly.”
*Ransom Canyon* features Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly in leading roles, centering on life in a fictional Texas ranching town. The series combines elements of drama and community resilience in the heart of the rural Southwest.
The new season, including the musicians’ appearance, is currently streaming on Netflix.
