Todd Gilbert and Jodi Strother, known for their generosity and dedication to the Mountain Home community, will receive the 2026 Bob Knight Bomber Spirit Award on Thursday night. The honor is part of the Night of Honors event, hosted by the Mountain Home Education Foundation at the Sheid on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH).

The Bob Knight Bomber Spirit Award celebrates individuals who embody the values of volunteerism, leadership, generosity, and steadfast support for the Mountain Home area. Gilbert and Strother’s longstanding contributions have benefited numerous organizations, including Mountain Home Public Schools, the Mountain Home Education Foundation, Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, and Baxter Health, among others.

In an interview with KTLO, Jodi Strother reflected on the importance of community involvement, which she says was instilled in her during her time as a young student in Mountain Home. Todd Gilbert also credited the coaches he had at Mountain Home School for shaping his perspective and inspiring him to give back.

The award, named for Bob Knight, a prominent advocate for Mountain Home, recognizes individuals who reflect the same commitment to fostering a sense of community and connection in the region. Their commitment to service underscores the values that the award seeks to honor.
