A Calico Rock woman died Saturday morning following a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 5 North, according to the Arkansas State Police.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:34 a.m. on Sept. 26 near Churchill Street in Calico Rock.
State Police identified the victim as 68-year-old Myra Fay Terry. A preliminary crash report indicated that Terry was driving a 2009 Kia Sportage southbound when her vehicle left the roadway while navigating a curve. The car traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.
Emergency responders transported Terry to Izard County Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
