CALICO ROCK, Ark. — A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Calico Rock woman on Tuesday, September 26, according to Arkansas State Police.
Myra Fay Terry, 68, was driving a 2009 Kia Sportage southbound on State Highway 5 when the vehicle left the roadway near a curve, traveled down an embankment, and collided with a tree near Churchill Street.
The roadway was dry, and weather conditions at the time were reported as cloudy, according to a preliminary crash summary released by the Arkansas State Police.
Trooper J.R. Jarvi, the investigating officer, prepared the initial report. Officials noted that this preliminary summary is not a final determination of fault.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
