Road work is set to begin Thursday morning at a heavily traveled intersection in Cotter, weather permitting, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT).
Crews will be installing a high-friction surface at the intersection of U.S. Highway 62/412 and Highway 62B, also known as the intersection with Denton Ferry Road. ARDOT reports the project will take approximately five working days to complete under favorable weather conditions. However, the schedule may change due to the sensitivity of the application process to both temperature and moisture.
Motorists are advised to plan for potential delays and exercise caution in the area while workers and machinery are present.
