Westin Swearingen, a standout athlete for Yellville-Summit High School, has been named the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Player of the Week, a high honor that spans football players from public and private schools across all classifications in Arkansas.
Swearingen was formally recognized Monday at the Little Rock Touchdown Club. During the event, he was presented with a commemorative plaque, sharing the spotlight with Jason Peters, a former Arkansas Razorback and prospective Pro Football Hall of Famer.
School officials expressed pride in Swearingen’s achievement, highlighting the significance of his representation of the Panthers on a statewide stage.
This recognition underscores Swearingen’s contributions on the football field and places him among the top-performing high school athletes in Arkansas.
