A Randolph County man is in custody following a traffic stop by a deputy on Highway 62 west of Pocahontas.
Stephen King, 52, of Pocahontas, was arrested and booked into the Randolph County Detention Center. According to authorities, King faces multiple charges, including possession of a firearm by a certain person, a felony, as well as DWI-drugs, driving with unsafe or defective equipment, and expired vehicle tags.
King is now awaiting a bond hearing and the scheduling of a court date to answer the charges.
