The city of Jonesboro is inviting residents to share their concerns about problematic railroad crossings through an online survey.
The initiative, part of a “rail crossing elimination study,” aims to identify crossings that cause significant challenges, including traffic delays, safety risks, limited access, and congestion. The survey allows residents to pinpoint crossings they believe should be eliminated or improved.
City officials stated that the responses will guide efforts to address longstanding issues with the city’s rail infrastructure and inform the study’s future direction.
Residents can complete the survey online until the deadline, which is October 12.
