The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reported multiple arrests over the past week, with charges ranging from public intoxication to rape. Sheriff Charley Melton confirmed the following individuals were taken into custody. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Kevin Odell, 48, of Oxford, was arrested on September 21 on a warrant issued by the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
Aaron Anstine, 47, of Oxford, was arrested the same day on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.
Adam Johnson, 26, of Melbourne, was also taken into custody on September 21, pursuant to a warrant from the Izard County Circuit Court for a petition to revoke probation.
Dillian Brown, 24, of Melbourne, was arrested on September 22. He faces charges including two counts of rape, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and two counts of sexual indecency with a minor.
Jeremy Woodcock, 34, of Calico Rock, was detained on September 25 on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Daison Faver, 30, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on September 26 on a warrant from the Izard County Circuit Court for a petition to revoke probation.
Robert Collins, 65, of Batesville, was taken into custody on September 26. His charges include careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, drinking in public, and his second offense of driving while intoxicated (DWI).
John Burchett, 21, of Melbourne, was also arrested on September 26 for public intoxication.
