The Twisted Spoke is set to welcome the community to its brand-new location in Southside with a grand opening event during Arkansas's Tax-Free Weekend. The celebration will span two days, Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, at 1610 Batesville Boulevard, located next to Sonic.
Event hours will run from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The grand opening promises a variety of family-friendly activities and opportunities to shop local vendors while enjoying tax-free savings ahead of the school year. Activities will include face painting, a petting zoo, and free hot dogs provided by The Twisted Spoke to show appreciation for its customers. Shoppers can also take advantage of the store’s annual tent sale.
In addition to The Twisted Spoke’s own offerings, community members will have the chance to support local businesses at the event. Vendors include Overflow Soda Co., CW Handmade Knife & Leather Work, L4L Rope Creations, Cotton Candy Booth, LJ Designs & Mobile Trailer, Pink Penelope – The Plant Camper, and The Wild Crumb.
