Portia city officials have announced that dumpsters for bulk waste disposal will be available to residents beginning Monday, October 23, for one week.
The dumpsters will be located at the City Shop, 101 West Grove Street, and will remain open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during this time.
City leaders encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of large items and other bulk waste not suitable for regular curbside collection. More details about what can and cannot be disposed of can be obtained by contacting Portia City Hall.
This temporary service is part of the city’s efforts to assist residents with waste management needs while keeping the community clean and safe.
