Rehobeth Baptist Church, located at 65 Ham St. in Batesville, will commemorate its 200th anniversary with a celebratory event on Saturday, Oct. 3. The bicentennial gathering will feature live gospel music, a fish fry, and activities for all ages.
The celebration begins at 10 a.m. and will include performances by local gospel musicians Randy and Stephanie Wade and The McComas Family. Lunch, catered by Fred’s Fish House, will be served at noon. Additional music and fellowship activities will continue through the afternoon.
The event also includes children’s activities, such as games and bounce houses, making it a family-friendly occasion. Pastor Brandon Jackson and Deacon Chris Edley are organizing the event and invite the public to join in the festivities.
