A Blytheville man was killed late Friday night in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 61 in Mississippi County, according to Arkansas State Police.
The incident occurred around 11:25 p.m. on September 25 at the intersection of U.S. 61 and Sandy Ridge Road. Larry Harris, driving a 2014 Buick Enclave southbound on U.S. 61, failed to maintain his lane, crossed the center line, and left the roadway, troopers reported.
The vehicle struck a guardrail, became airborne, and overturned. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report. Authorities confirmed that his next of kin have been notified.
The crash report noted that weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
