The 30th Annual Arvest Charity Golf Tournament has raised $18,000 for three nonprofit organizations serving Boone, Baxter, and Marion counties, according to an announcement from Arvest Bank. The event took place on August 22 at Twin Lakes Golf Club in Mountain Home.
This year’s proceeds were distributed evenly, with $6,000 each going to Spectrum Connection of Arkansas in Baxter County, the Mid-Marion County Rotary Club in Marion County, and the Burlsworth Foundation in Boone County. Since its inception, the tournament has generated more than $317,000 in support of local nonprofits.
"Arvest’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament continues to be a success because of the great community support," said Scott Copeland, president of Arvest Bank – North Arkansas. "Our generous sponsors, the players, and the volunteers have made it possible for us to do this for 30 years. We thank them for making these gifts to local nonprofits possible."
Spectrum Connection of Arkansas, based in Mountain Home and established in 2024, focuses on raising awareness and offering resources for individuals and families impacted by autism, ADHD, ADD, and dyslexia.
