The Beatles appear to be building suspense for a forthcoming announcement, sparking speculation among fans worldwide.
A countdown clock has appeared on the band’s official website, ticking down to Wednesday at 7 p.m. BST (2 p.m. ET). Accompanying the clock is the tagline, "Good things come to those who Wait," as well as a video showing a tree and an apple rolling through a field of weeds.
Visitors to the site are urged to sign up for the official Beatles mailing list with a promise that "exciting news is coming soon." However, no additional hints or specifics about the announcement have been revealed.
The band has used these kinds of teasers in the past. In August 2025, The Beatles generated similar buzz with a cryptic leadup to the rerelease of their Anthology series. That announcement included an updated version of the Anthology documentary series with a new episode, the rerelease of the Anthology music collection along with a new fourth album, and the reissue of the Anthology book.
As of now, fans will have to wait for the countdown to reach its end to find out what the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group has in store.
