The Mount Pleasant Alumni Association will hold its annual reunion this weekend, inviting all Bluebirds, Lady Bluebirds, and friends of the school to celebrate and reconnect. Events are set to take place at the pavilion and cafeteria on the Mount Pleasant School campus.
Friday’s schedule begins with a meal at 6 p.m., followed by a bingo game at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from bingo will support scholarships for students from Mount Pleasant or those with ties to the school. This year, the association is awarding two $1,000 Bluebird Scholarships and two $500 Bluebird Support Scholarships.
Scholarship recipients will attend the Saturday luncheon to receive their awards. Saturday’s events also include a silent auction starting at 11 a.m., with bidding closing at 1 p.m.
The reunion provides an opportunity for former students, staff, and supporters of Mount Pleasant School to gather, celebrate their shared history, and contribute to the future of local students through scholarship funding.
