The Academy of Country Music has announced a star-studded lineup for its 19th ACM Honors ceremony, with performances by Megan Moroney, Trisha Yearwood, Dierks Bentley, Dylan Scott, and others. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, at The Pinnacle in Nashville.
Hosting duties for the evening will be handled by Carly Pearce and Parker McCollum, both of whom are prominent figures in today’s country music scene. Performers also include Gavin Adcock, Margo Price, Avery Anna, Carter Faith, Big Kenny, Mark Collie, and Kaitlin Butts, adding to the diverse mix of artists taking the stage that night.
The celebration will include a special honor for Dolly Parton, who will receive the ACM Poet’s Award in recognition of her contributions as a songwriter. The Poet’s Award highlights those who have made a lasting impact on the craft of country music songwriting.
Other honorees for the evening include Ella Langley, Bill Anderson, Brett James, The Carter Family, Eric Church, and Kacey Musgraves, among others. Brenda Lee has been named as the Academy’s special guest for the event, further cementing the night as a tribute to both the trailblazers and contemporary innovators of the genre.
In addition, newcomer Zach John King will be presenting the ACM Studio Recording and Industry Awards during the program.
