FORREST CITY, Ark. — An 18-year-old Forrest City man has been arrested and faces multiple charges following a cyber tip about the uploading of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), according to Arkansas State Police (ASP).
Ja’Quan Ivey was taken into custody on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, in the lobby of the St. Francis County Detention Center. Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Special Agents booked Ivey on four counts of pandering or possessing a visual or print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
The investigation began after a cloud-based storage service flagged the upload of what it identified as illicit material. Authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Summer Street in Forrest City on Friday, July 31, 2026. ASP Special Agents, assisted by the Arkansas Highway Police, seized an electronic device during the search.
Ivey remains in custody at the St. Francis County Detention Center, with bond set at $100,000. His first court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 5, 2026.
The investigation is ongoing. Arkansas State Police have not released additional details.
