The Izard County Sheriff's Office has released its weekly incarceration report, detailing arrests made in the county last week. Sheriff Charley Melton provided the following information about individuals taken into custody, noting that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Brain Parenteau, 47, of Franklin, was arrested on September 15 for terroristic threatening in the second degree, disorderly conduct, third-degree battery, resisting arrest, and two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
On September 16, two individuals from Horseshoe Bend were arrested for domestic battery in the third degree: James Curtis, 47, and Stephin Curtis, 22.
Christopher Thomas, 45, of Sage, was arrested on September 17 after a warrant was issued by the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
Elijah Sikes, 21, of Hardy, was taken into custody on September 20 on a warrant for third-degree assault issued by the Izard County District Court.
