A Pocahontas man was taken into custody on multiple charges following a traffic stop in Randolph County.
Stephen King, 52, was arrested by Randolph County Sheriff's deputies on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. According to booking records, King faces charges of possession of a firearm by a certain person, a felony offense, as well as other alleged violations, including driving while intoxicated (DWI) involving drugs, driving with a suspended license, displaying expired tags, possessing an open container of alcohol, and operating a vehicle with unsafe or defective equipment.
King was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center and is currently being held while awaiting a bond hearing and a court date.
