A groundbreaking ceremony for a new Mountain Home VA Clinic is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 2, according to an announcement from the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. The clinic will be located in the West End Way development park, an area that includes businesses such as Harp's grocery store and a number of banks, with additional projects, including a car wash, currently under construction.
The new VA clinic will feature enhanced and expanded services, providing capabilities that were not previously available to veterans in the region. According to the Central Arkansas VA, the updated facilities will offer a larger and more modernized environment designed to better serve veterans as well as staff.
The groundbreaking event is set to begin at 11 a.m. on October 2. Event and visitor parking will be clearly marked for convenience on the day of the ceremony.
